We cannot think of our listeners as numbers on a list or database dwellers. They are real people and need to be treated like you are when you walk in to a top notch restaurant with your friends or family. Your listeners need to be treated with respect even when they do not deserve it. Remember, winning an argument with a listener usually means losing a listener.
